[Huff! Except that's only half the present and he's already dropped some cupcakes in Sousuke's locker so he wouldn't really be without a present. The bastard.]
Anyway, I've given my word already, right? I'm not gonna back down on it now, even if you are cheating.

Hey, Rin. [ he's reaching in to grab the cupcakes now, looking them over and trying to hide how he's kinda...really happy about these. not that rin could see it, this all being on audio and everything. ] Did you make these?
[There's some low grumbling and growling when Sousuke mentions testing it out, but Rin doesn't protest otherwise; he's given his word now, so all he can do is brace for impact.
At the question, though, he's at least glad for the change of subject.]
Yeah. They're pretty simple 'cause baking is not my specialty, and I had to get help from some baking club guys, anyway, but I guess they taste all right.

I told you, I got a little help from the baking club. 'Sides, just because I don't like sweets, doesn't mean I don't have a general idea of what goes into basic cake batter. Frosting and decorating was mostly on Anna, though.
