you found a guy on a bulletin board to do creepy magic in a creepy school and you haven't even met him. sousuke is generally untrusting. just try and think about how this comes off to him. ]

Shigeru Miyata. I'll go meet him in person first, then take him to see you. Maybe he can even take a look at your shoulder, too.

[ okay, yes, he knows rin. but this is crazy. forgive him for being a little more suspicious. ]

I don't think you should meet him alone. [ and then he sighs. ] I'll just go with you, okay?

[Rin understands Sousuke's suspicions, but he's pretty desperate, okay. So that's why, when Sousuke agrees to go with him, he sighs in relief, and you can practically hear the smile in his voice.]

Thanks, Sousuke. I know it's weird and all, but... I just have a good feeling about this, I guess.

[ the desperation is something that sousuke can understand, sure, but it's not enough to really be on board with this.
